Charissa Thompson

Thompson left FOX Sports in 2010, and pulled double duty as the host for Versus and Yahoo Sports. She hosted Versus' NHL studio coverage and produced web-based content for the incredibly popular Yahoo platform, leading the site's presence at high-profile events, including the 2010 Winter Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl XLV and the BCS National Championship. Success at these events led her to be hired by ESPN as one of its hosts of the new afternoon show called "Numbers Never Lie," on August 11, 2011. She joined in July 2012 to join the "SportsNation" company in July of 2012. It was a huge success, and she stayed with the network until the end of May 2013 in which time she returned back to Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson who is a keen sports fan in her core, has displayed impressive versatility in crossing over to the world of entertainment programming. In June of 2014, following several part-time jobs, Thompson was appointed permanent co-host of the Hollywood nightly newsmagazine "Extra". In her role as co-host filming for the magazine at Universal Studios as well as hosting award shows with a staff and gatherings regularly. Charissa Charissa Charissa
